Corrugator Supervisor 2nd Shift

Description

As a Corrugator Supervisor, you’ll lead a team responsible for producing high-quality corrugated board safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You’ll provide day-to-day leadership, develop your team, coordinate with maintenance and other departments, and help drive continuous improvement to support operational performance and customer satisfaction.

Shift: Second Shift. This leadership position supports second shift operations and requires schedule flexibility, including occasional weekend work, to meet business needs.

Salary: $85,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience, plus eligibility for a monthly performance incentive.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of approximately 8 to 10 employees while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
  • Monitor production, quality, and efficiency to ensure operational goals are achieved while minimizing waste.
  • Coordinate production activities, staffing, and shift communication to maintain reliable operations.
  • Partner with Maintenance to coordinate equipment repairs and preventive maintenance.
  • Monitor inventory levels of roll stock and corrugator supplies to support uninterrupted production.
  • Address production issues, quality concerns, and employee performance in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and communicate company goals, safety expectations, and operational updates.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with additional responsibilities as business needs require.

What We’re Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of two years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Corrugated manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while balancing safety, quality, productivity, and employee engagement.

What to Expect on the Job

This is a full-time leadership position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll divide your time between the production floor and office while leading daily operations, supporting employees, and coordinating with other departments. Our facility is not climate controlled, and required personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn in designated production areas. This position requires frequent walking, standing, bending, and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
