Description
As a Shipping Forklift Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our customers receive the right products, on time and in excellent condition. You’ll safely move, stage, and load finished corrugated products while helping maintain inventory accuracy and supporting an efficient shipping operation. Every load you move contributes directly to customer satisfaction.
Shift: 2nd Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM) — Must be available for overtime and occasional weekend work as needed
Starting Pay: $17.50/hour – Eligible for pay increases at 90 days and 6 months based on performance and attendance.
What You’ll Do
- Safely operator a forklift to move, stage, and load finished corrugated products for shipment
- Verify products, quantities, and shipping paperwork before loading
- Load trailers safely while protecting product quality and minimizing damage
- Organize inventory and stage products for efficient shipping
- Complete daily forklift inspections and report equipment concerns
- Work with production and shipping teams to meet customer delivery schedules
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and efficient shipping area
- Support continuous improvement efforts and assist with additional responsibilities as business needs require
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous forklift experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred
- Ability to safely operate a forklift or successfully complete company forklift certification
- Basic computer skills
- Corrugated manufacturing experience is a plus
- Dependable, safety focused, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality work
What to Expect on the Job
This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You’ll spend most of your shift operating a forklift, moving finished products, loading trailers, and supporting shipping operations. Our facility is not climate controlled, and personal protective equipment is required on the production floor. This position required frequent sitting while operating equipment, getting on and off the forklift throughout the shift, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds as needed.
