Job Title: Digital Content Intern: Recruitment and Marketing
Division: Logistics
Reports To: Divisional Human Resource Manager
Internship Location - Intern must physically be able to work in the Addison, TX area. This is not a remote position.
SUMMARY
Pay Rate - $22/hr.
This is a great opportunity for an intern to learn the overall supply chain function of a Logistics company with a strong emphasis in Marketing and Digital Recruitment Campaigns. Pratt Logistics has a goal to hire 100 to 200 CDL drivers in the next one to four years and the right candidate will help the company achieve this goal through a robust marketing recruitment strategy program. This role is designed for an intern who can bridge the gap between talent acquisition and cutting-edge technology including AI. The intern must possess aptitude and understanding of problem-solving techniques, data analysis, and a basic understanding of supply chain principles and logistics. The intern must maintain an openness and willingness to learn.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- AI Integration: Develop and implement new AI tools to assist in recruitment efforts and enhance data-driven decision-making.
- Digital Engagement: Improve social media platform utilization to expand Pratt Logistics' brand reach and foster meaningful candidate engagement.
- Strategic Development: With the help of the Marketing department, building a comprehensive program to attract top-tier CDL drivers through innovative marketing frameworks.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Currently majoring in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or other related fields.
- Desire to learn the overall Logistics function of the company
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills/Continuous improvement mindset
- Customer Service Skills
- Computer literate (MS Office/Google Suite, basic understanding of database structure and data visualization tools)
PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS
Must be able to plan, organize, and execute tasks within a given timeframe.
ATTENTION TO DETAIL
Accuracy and precision are important in supply chain operations, therefore the intern must pay close attention to detail.
ORGANIZATIONAL SKILLS
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize tasks.
