Position Summary:
This position will provide diversified administrative support functions including compliance, ad hoc projects, recruiting support and knowledge of all policies. Specific goals, project management expectations and quarterly performance reviews will be given and assessed for success in each of the criteria below. In order to proceed into an available HR role or into our HR Succession Plan this Program must be successfully completed.
Essential Functions/Position Responsibilities:
- ATS: Ability to create position, transmit applicants to hiring manager, complete disposition through “select for hire” and close position.
- PAYROLL: Must complete time with ADP group, ADP class, System review
- ONBOARDING: Prepare new hire employee orientation package and hire documents with a goal of consistency throughout divisions.
- BENEFITS: Review and understand the PRATT benefit package and communicate to current employees.
- ORGANIZATON/SUCCESSION PLANNING: Ability to create organizational charts, understand positions within the determined divisional needs.
- LEAVE MAINTENANCE: Full knowledge of PRATT leaves and management of each one.
- COMPLIANCE: All state and federal notifications, laws, and Pratt policies
- JOB DISCRIPTIONS: Audit job descriptions against positions to determine the need for updated and new positions
- DISCIPLINARY: Full understanding of process and ability to guide managers in steps.
- EMPLOYEE RELATIONS: Ensure employees are receiving adequate Pratt participations throughout division, participate in company sponsored event planning and fundraising efforts. Newsletter contribution
- Assist Manager with day-to-day functions of department.
- Perform all duties assigned by manager.

Hiring Requirements/Preferences:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience within an administrative support function, including a minimum of 1 year related Human Resource, payroll and/or benefit administration experience.
- Strong working knowledge of all Microsoft office suite software products, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
- Demonstrated superior oral and interpersonal communication skills, professional presentation and the ability to listen, obtain clarification, respond professionally and responsively to individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive and proprietary business information.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple and changing work assignments priorities.
- Multi-task, interpersonal communication, problem solving and time management skills are needed.
- Have a high degree of safety awareness and safety discipline
- Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
- Pass a pre-employment “Fit for Work” physical.
- Be able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors and the general public at all times.
- Willing to travel and work away from home when required.
- Be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary.
- Report to work at the designated start time.
- Be able to work overtime when required.
