Description
Duties:
- Maintain & Update Drawings
- Projects
- Develop Scope, Plan, Quote, & Implement Capital & Maintenance Projects
- Meet Project Schedules & Budgets
- Identify Process Improvement Opportunities
- On-Call Responsibility for Mechanical Department
- Technical Resource
- Develop Maintenance Procedure & Quality Specifications
- Assist with Maintenance Troubleshooting
- Maintain Technical Documents
- Assist with Technical Growth & Training of Mill Personnel
- Safety
- Ensure Safety Procedure are Followed by ALL
- Engineer Safety Systems & Guarding
- Reliability
- Evaluate & Modify PM Schedules to Optimize Uptime
- Assist with Root Cause Failure Analysis & Develop Corrective Solution
Requirements:
- BS in Engineering, preferably Mechanical
- Industrial Experience, preferably in Pulp & Paper
- Knowledge of Mechanical Systems including Pumps, Gearboxes, Lubrication, Vibration, Piping, Welding, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Thermal Systems, Etc.
- Computer Skills including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
