Quality Auditor - 2nd Shift

Description

SUMMARY –

  • Oversees and is responsible for the conformance to specifications of all aspects of departmental production and the suitability for sale of all items produced during shift

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –

  • Ability to perform audits
  • Follow and ensure that coworkers adhere to all applicable safe work policies & procedures
  • Monitor and maintain a safe & clean work area.
  • Ensure that corporate policies and procedures are followed.
  • Ensure that all orders produced are completed according to the specifications provided.
  • Complete all paper work and data entry as required.
  • Manage sorting and reworks
  • Involvement in the complaint process for internal and external customers
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Must be able troubleshoot problems on assigned production lines
  • Computer literacy- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office especially Excel, Access and Powerpoint
  • Must have a reasonable knowledge of current Software
  • Must be able to understand and follow schedules
  • Must have outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE -

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 5 years industry experience preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Able to read and follow instructions; quality, safety, job packets

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, measurement, volume and rate. Able to apply concepts of high school math.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may occasionally be required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
