Pratt Industries - a sustainable packaging company – is looking for an HR Generalist ready to work closely with the HR manager to support the HR initiatives for Wapakoneta Corrugator.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Handle HR-related duties for the Wapakoneta Corrugator
- Work closely with HR manager to identify and implement efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies
- Administer employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, FMLA, vacation, paid leaves.
- Assist HR manager in investigating employee relations issues, including hotline reports, with a focus on timely resolution.
- Maintain and administer any records or personnel files as required by state and federal laws for all employees, including I-9s.
- Process biweekly payroll with payroll analyst support and guidance
- Run monthly reports such as OT, vacation accrual
- Balance multiple commitments in fast paced environment
- Participate in daily/weekly meetings
- Additional duties as assigned by management.
Education and/or Experience:
- 1+ years of experience within the field of Human Resources, payroll, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office
- Experience in manufacturing
- Proficient knowledge and application of HR laws and regulations

- Preferred Candidates will have experience with ADP and other HRIS’s.
Physical Demands
- Employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear, sit and stand.
- Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be, at times, loud.
