Pratt Industries - a sustainable packaging company – is looking for an HR Manager ready to work closely with their HR Generalist to support the HR initiatives for the Wapakoneta Corrugator facility.

Requirements, Education, and Experience
● 5 experience as a HR generalist or HR Manager.
● Excellent oral and written communication skills.
● Computer literate (proficient in MS Word, MS Excel)
● BS degree in HR Management or related field preferred
● Manufacturing experience preferred
● Preferred SPHR or PHR certification
Duties and Responsibilities
● Direct all phases of the Human Resources function including recruitment, onboarding,
performance & talent management, engagement and other related people initiatives or programs.
● Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies
● Administer all employee benefits including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, FMLA,
vacation, paid leaves
● Investigate employee relations issues, including hotline reports, with focus on timely
resolution.
● Maintain and administer any records or personnel files as required by state and federal
laws.
● Maintain and analyze metrics related to absenteeism, retention, and other HR KPI’s.
● Assist with processing biweekly payroll.
● Support and develop all direct reports.
● Participate in daily/weekly meetings, acting as point of contact and HR Business Partner.
● Additional duties as assigned by management.

● Preferred Candidates will have experience with ADP and other HRIS’s.
Physical Demands
● Employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear, sit and stand.
● Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision,
depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Work Environment
● While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be exposed to wet and/or
humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise
level in the work environment can be, at times, loud.
