Maintenance Technician
Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Location: Fort Worth, TX
Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor
Job Type: Full-time- 1st Shift
Pay Range: $28.85 - $34.86
Job Summary
We are seeking Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining, repairing industrial converting, and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain and optimize equipment performance
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including programmable controllers, A/C and D/C drives
- Plan, schedule, and assign maintenance work
- Use maintenance software programs effectively
- Train other maintenance staff
- Ensure quality control and maximize equipment utilization
- Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
- Maintain good housekeeping in work areas
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the Corrugated industry
- High school diploma or GED
- Personal tools necessary for maintenance tasks
Preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
Skills
- Language: Ability to read and follow instructions on factory masters
- Mathematical:
- Proficient with tape measure
- Calculate percentages, measurements, volume, and rates
- Apply high school math concepts
- Reasoning:
- Apply common sense to carry out instructions
- Problem-solving skills for standardized situations
- Technical:
- Knowledge of equipment design and capabilities
- Understanding of product layouts and production specifications
- Familiarity with quality standards
