Maintenance Technician

Position: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time- 1st Shift

Pay Range: $28.85 - $34.86

Job Summary

We are seeking Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be maintaining, repairing industrial converting, and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
  • Maintain and optimize equipment performance
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, including programmable controllers, A/C and D/C drives
  • Plan, schedule, and assign maintenance work
  • Use maintenance software programs effectively
  • Train other maintenance staff
  • Ensure quality control and maximize equipment utilization
  • Complete required paperwork accurately and on time
  • Maintain good housekeeping in work areas
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures

Qualifications

  • Experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the Corrugated industry
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Personal tools necessary for maintenance tasks

Preferred

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload

Skills

  • Language: Ability to read and follow instructions on factory masters
  • Mathematical:
    • Proficient with tape measure
    • Calculate percentages, measurements, volume, and rates
    • Apply high school math concepts
  • Reasoning:
    • Apply common sense to carry out instructions
    • Problem-solving skills for standardized situations
  • Technical:
    • Knowledge of equipment design and capabilities
    • Understanding of product layouts and production specifications
    • Familiarity with quality standards

Physical Demands

  • Regularly stand, walk, talk, and hear
  • Frequently use hands, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Occasionally sit
  • Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Specific vision abilities required

Work Environment

  • Non-climate controlled
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts
  • Frequent exposure to wet/humid conditions
  • Occasional exposure to high places, fumes, airborne particles, and vibration
  • Typically loud noise levels
