Maintenance Planner & Scheduler

Description

The Maintenance Planner & Scheduler supports maintenance operations by assisting with work order creation, updates and closure, scheduling work, communication with stake holders, calibration recordkeeping, and maintenance reporting.

This role is focused on data entry, coordination support, and administrative assistance to help ensure safe and efficient maintenance operations.

Job Duties:

· Receive maintenance schedules from maintenance supervision and update work order system as directed.

· Enter and update work orders.

· Provide status updates on assigned work orders to Maintenance Manager.

· Notify supervision of delays, incomplete work, or missing information.

· Assist with printing or compiling weekly maintenance schedules as requested.

· Assist in identifying maintenance material and spare parts needs as directed.

· Assist in scheduling contractor visits as instructed.

· Record inventory transactions and updates in the system.

· Assist in document creation for PM’s or routine maintenance procedures.

· Compile or print maintenance reports as requested by supervision.

· Maintain organized maintenance files and records.

· Work with the parts department to ensure the parts are kitted for the scheduled work.

· Any other tasks as assigned by your supervisor.

Qualifications:

· 3–5 years of experience in maintenance support, administrative support, inventory tracking, or industrial maintenance environment preferred.

· Familiarity with maintenance work order systems is preferred.

· Basic understanding of maintenance, inventory, or manufacturing environments preferred.

· Strong organizational and documentation skills.

· Strong attention to detail and communication skills.
