Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESOperate clamp truck to remove rollstock from production line and place in inventory.
Operate clamp truck to load rollstock onto outbound trailers and/or rail cars.
Check for and note any physical damage to the rolls.
Operate the clamp truck in a safe manner.
Complete clamp truck inspection report at the beginning of each shift and turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs.
Check drivers in an out and print BOL’s.
Keep warehouse organized and clean.
Maximize the utilization of equipment by operating the machinery at available capacity and speed.
Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
Additional duties may be assigned by management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCECandidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:
Prior work experience in the recycled pulp and paper industry.
Prior industrial power truck or heavy equipment operating experience.
All applicants must possess a current Lift Truck/Clamp Truck Operator License.
