Human Resource Assistant

Reports to: Human Resource Manager

Hourly rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE

Hours: 25 hours per week

Location: Staten Island, NY

We are seeking a self-motivated person to provide administrative support to a busy Human Resources Department. As a Human Resource Administrator you will be responsible for providing administrative support for the department, assisting with the hiring process, managing the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), tracking vacation time and a variety of other human resources related tasks.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

•Maintain Employee personnel files

•Responsible for onboarding new hires

•Maintain Applicant Tracking System

•Manage and track time off requests

•Support HR with benefits and payroll related items

•Other duties as directed by Regional HR Manager

Education and Technical Skills:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources preferred. Matriculated college students in a Human Resource program are welcomed to apply.

•Solid understanding of MS Office Word and Excel.

•Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.
