Human Resources Manager (Hybrid - Brookhaven, GA)

Description

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to join our corporate team in Brookhaven, GA. The ideal candidate is a passionate self-starter that is comfortable supporting all levels of management, and open to getting into the weeds when needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Experienced in interviewing, testing, orientation, exit interviews, salary surveys and unemployment hearings
  • Administer open enrollment and employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, 401K, STD/LTD, FMLA and vacation
  • Serve as primary source of contact to managers, employees, and legal counsel on all human resource related matters
  • Maintain and administer specific HR reports and records as required
  • Maintain and update personnel files
  • Process payroll
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Organize and communicate employee rewards and recognition programs
  • Other tasks and/or projects assigned

Job Requirements/Education/Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Senior HR Generalist/Manager
  • BS degree in HR Administration/Business Management or related field
  • Proficient in the application of HR laws and regulations
  • ADP Vantage experience preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Computer literate (proficient in MS Word, MS Excel)
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred, but not required
  • Knowledge of Safety/OSHA/Workers Compensation/ADA beneficial

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Employee is regularly required to walk and talk and hear, sit and stand.
  • Vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
  • When at our plants, the employee will be exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment can be, at times, loud.
